Beverley Anderson-Abbs, an expat living in California, continues her stellar running career with her February 1st, 2025 performance at the Jed Smith Endurance Runs 50k in Sacramento. Beverley ran 4:04:32, which surpassed Christine Dirks' 2014 time of 4:30:14. Congratulations, Beverley!
Wayne Gaudet Breaks Five in One Go!

Congratulations to David (Wayne) Gaudet of Alberta on breaking five M65 records at Survivorfest 24 Hour on 8-9 June 2024.
Wayne reached 50 Miles in 8:28:23, surpassing Albert Miclette's 2005 performance of 8:35:59. He reached 100km at 10:35:57, bettering Miclette's 10:58:25 (2004). Wayne went on to pass the 12 Hour mark with 111.458km, bettering Miclette's 2005 mark of 104.800km. After passing 100 miles with 17:48:11 on the clock (surpassing Steve Tomajko's 2019 time of 22:23:42), Wayne finished 24 Hours with 202.892km (besting Rolly Portelance's 2008 mark of 168.941km).
Catrin Jones continues to break W45 records

Catrin Jones of BC continued her challenge of W45 records in 2024 with a performance at the Dream Nation Apparel 24 Hour on 21 September 2024.
Catrin achieved 76.000km in 6 Hours, surpassing Bernadette Benson's 72.329km from 2018. She went on to achieve 8:08:26 for 100km, surpassing Benson's 8:27:39 also from 2018. Congratulations, Catrin!

Benson breaks W55 records
- Details
At the April 6-7 2024 Australian 24hr Track Invitational in Canberra, Bernadette Benson broke three W55 records, which have been ratified by ACU.
W55 6hr: 62.632km, surpassing Barbara McLeod's performance from 1992
W55 12hr: 118.596km, surpassing Barbara McLeod's performance from 1994
W55 100 mile: 16:54:18, surpassing Sue Armstrong's 2015 time of 21:06:44. Bernadette's performance is a pending IAU World Age Best Performance (WABP), which is currently with the IAU Records Committee for verification and ratification.
George Biondic Breaks Three M70 Records

Congratulations to George Biondic of Ontario, who set a new 48 Hour M70 record of 217.261km with his performance at 3 Days at the Fair (6 Day Run) in New Jersey in May 2023. His performance surpassed the 48 Hour M70 record of 210.824km set in 2017 by Donald Landry. George went on to break the M70 72 Hour record, covering 294.510km, and the M70 6 Day record, with a final total of 550.396km. His 72 Hour and 6 Day distances bettered the former records held by Charlie Upshall of 288.073km and 500.506km, respectively.
